“Choose to Reuse” selected as campaign slogan for coffee cup reduction

A slogan has been selected at the March Board of Directors meeting for the latest campaign, reducing the number of disposable (single use) coffee cups.

“Choose to Reuse” was selected over other popular slogans for the following reasons:

  • Generic enough that it could be used for different campaigns in the future
  • Was more positive than words like “refuse” or “stop”
  • Catchy and rhymes, so it will be easy to remember

We are now working on graphics and items for printing to provide to coffee shops and volunteers to help us promote this campaign. Look for the slogan appearing in the newsletter, social media (#choosetoreuse), our website, and at your local coffee shop.
